Privates, Duos and Trios

We are no longer limiting you to a particular day and time
or a short session in which to complete your TRIOS.
5, 10, 15 or 20 sessions may be purchased
and used, by appointment only, over a period of
6 months from their purchase date.

Pilates DUOS and TRIOS
With the addition of new equipment in the studio, we can now offer a Pilates' workout with greater variety, more challenge and more personalized instruction in a small group setting. With a maximum of two or three participants (Duo or Trio, respectively), you get the benefit of individualized attention from the instructor with the cost-effectiveness of group classes.

Do you have a friend or two who would like to form a Pilates Duo or Trio? Build your own Duo or Trio and let us know! We will be happy to book your Duo or Trio at at a time that works for you within the framework of instructor availability.
Introduction to Pilates
New to Pilates? This is a great way to learn the basics so that you can integrate easily into our classes.
With lots of personal attention from our instructors you will learn the foundational exercises, terminology and build the confidence to know when you are performing an exercise correctly.
3 class Introductory sessions:

Demystifying the Shoulder Part II
For Pilates' instructors only
-Guide the particiapnts through the proper timing, cueing, and execution of each pertinent exercise
-Incorporate more exercises using the apparatus under the strict observation of the instructor throughout the entire range of movement
-Answer any questions and clarify any subject matter related to Part 1 of the course

Rehab through Pilates
Continuing Education for Pilates Instructors.
This 38 hour course is designed to help Pilates' instructors enhance their palpation and analysis skills. By the end of the 6-day course, you will look at your clients very differently and approach their program design from an entirely new perspective. Incorporating manual skills and intelligent movement choices, you will learn to look at your clients from the inside out and never look at the spine the same way again.
This 5-day course includes a detailed manual and emphasizes:
- Hands-on Pilates (improving tactile cueing, evaluation and exercise prescription skills)
- How to evaluate the functional mobility of the spine
- How to evaluate the functional strength of the stabilizing muscles
- Somatovisceral relationships and how they can aid us in program design
- The importance of a proper medical history and how to use the information in your program design
- Exercise variations to add more spine extension, rotation and lateral flexion to the traditional Pilates' repertoire
- The use of props to assist spine articulation and stability
Dates: April 10, 11, 23, 24, 25th, 2010
Time: Saturdays and Sundays, 10am - 6 pm each day
Friday, 12pm - 6pm
Cost: $700 plus tax
