    What is Pilates?

    Joseph Pilates designed this timeless approach to exercise in the early 1920's and it has been re-building bodies ever since. The Pilates method works with the deep core and postural muscles of the body, providing stability and support for the spine.  Focusing on awareness of breath, proper alignment and intelligent movement, Pilates provides a whole-body workout, creates mental focus and flexible, strong muscles.
